What should I do if my pet passes away at night or on the weekend?
You’re welcome to call for assistance on the weekend or after regular business hours. We can advise on safe care at home, discuss after‑hours options, and schedule the earliest available time for home transfer or arrival at Cherished Companions.
How far do you travel for home pick-up & delivery?
Our home pick-up and delivery services are available within 30 miles from Skokie, IL.
What do your pet cremation packages include?
We offer two pet cremation packages that both include on-site private cremation and a signed certificate of passing. The Cherished Good-Bye package includes a black & white pawprint tin urn. The Signature Farewell package includes a Sheesham Rosewood urn with golden pawprint inlay, as well as a personalized clay paw print. Both packages can be customized to meet your needs.
Do you accept exotic pets or large dogs over 70lbs?
Yes, we accept animals from 0-100+ pounds. Please call with details about your pet’s species, breed, and approximate weight to confirm.
Can you accommodate religious or cultural requests?
We do our best to honor all special requests within safety and regulatory guidelines; please share details when you call.
